A team of New Dawn supporters will be returning to Kenya and Tanzania from July 17 to August 5 to support our kids in school in Laikipia, Kenya and to begin building a new high school for orphans in Ishinde Village, Tanzania.
New Dawn Kenya continues to graduate top scoring students who are going on to University with Government support due to their high academic achievements. The team will assist graduating seniors with their legacy project. This year will focus on maintenance and ensuring past projects are in good working order. Improvements are excepted to better distribute the biogas fuel generated from the 2015 project to where it is needed.
In Tanzania, the team will celebrate the first production from the new greenhouse which was supported by Sunrise Rotary of Napa.
The greenhouse provides an immediate source of revenue and will help feed the students in the future. Last year a water well was completed and water was made available to the local community and made further development possible. This year we will also be laying foundations for the main hall of the New School.
Your prayers and financial support are needed more than ever. The number of orphans needing support is growing and additional facilities are needed in both Kenya and Tanzania. Both schools need capital funding for facilities and ongoing commitments to support the daily operating needs of the schools. It takes about $1000 per year per student to provide room and board and a top notch high school education. Can you help?

Our members talk to our students about the issues they have faced in the past and help answer their questions from a biblical perspective. God loves each of them and we go there to remind them that we do too.
