Laboratory Progress

We’ve made some wonderful progress on our laboratory! The exterior is completed, and the concrete countertops and sink structures have been installed. We are now in need of finishing it up so the students can have a hands on experience in the sciences. Many have expressed the desire to go on to study medicine and other fields which require lab experience. The completion of the lab is also a requirement the government has asked of us, but we have simply been unable to comply because of lack of funds.
We are still waiting on funds to move forward with the much needed completion.

Help build a new facility in Tanzania
Significant progress has been made constructing the school and getting ready for year one. However, as of November 2018 we still need to build more dorms and staff housing to accommodate the classes entering in years 2, 3, 4 and fund the operating costs as well. The construction, teaching, and administration is all done by Tanzanians under the supervision of our Tanzanian Director Steven Mshomi. Thus, your dollars go a long way. Our costs are about $30/sq ft for construction and expected to be roughly $1000 per year per student for boarding and education.. Below is slightly dated as we are now working on the second dormitory, But it is still a useful guide.
